Spin Shake sister sites 2023

Trada Casino logo

If Spin Shake and Trada Casino were people, Trada Casino might be what Spin Shake looks like on an off day. That’s not an especially kind way of describing this member of the Spin Shake sister sites family, but it’s also accurate. The bulk of the casinos on the AG Communications Limited network were made with a template. Often, that template churns out very similar-looking sites. It then becomes a matter of what the individual casinos can do to “jazz up” the look a little bit. Trada Casino has done little other than throw a Union flag at it and hope for the best, so the result is that it looks dull. One should never judge a book entirely by its cover, though, and the welcome promotion at Trada Casino is above average by the standards of the network as a whole.

Karamba logo

There’s quite a lot to be said for the idea of Karamba being one of the best casinos on this platform. For a start, it has far more to offer than the likes of Spin Shake. As well as all the slots you could shake a stick at and a massive number of live dealer and live casino games, Karamba has an enormous sportsbook covering just about every sport you’d expect a bookie to offer odds on. Very few Spin Shake sister sites can hold a candle to Karamba when it comes to content, but the site looks a little shabby. We appreciate a cute parrot mascot as much as the next casino comparison website does, but the generic template-based look of Spin Shake means that it fails to inspire with its aesthetics. The welcome promotion isn’t up to much either – there are casinos on the network that cough up ten times as much for new players.

Luckland logo

Luckland is the sleeper hit of the AG Communications Limited platform. It’s more popular than Karamba, for example, despite ostensibly having less to offer players. You’ll find all the same slots at Luckland as you will at Karamba (and at Spin Shake, for that matter), and you’ll also find the same detailed and comprehensive sportsbook. What you won’t find at Luckland is a live dealer casino. That ought to hurt the site’s appeal, but it appears to do no such thing. What is it, then, that makes Luckland more popular than so many Spin Shake sister sites that it otherwise ought to be equivalent to? It can’t be the casino’s welcome promotion because that’s only worth £50 at best. Perhaps it’s the vague hints of a funfair theme that exist at the site – but that would be a pretty weak explanation.

Scratch2Cash logo

Scratch2Cash is a relic of a bygone iGaming age. It’s one of the oldest Spin Shake sister sites – older even than AG Communications Limited, which has been around since 2009. As you can no doubt tell from the name, there used to be nothing on this website apart from scratchcards. Sites of that nature used to be popular, but offering scratchcards alone is no longer enough for iGaming sites to get by. Several years ago, the scratch games at Scratch2Cash were withdrawn and replaced by slots and regular casino games. That leaves the casino with a name that makes no sense in the context of the games that it offers. The weirdest thing is that AG Communications has access to plenty of digital scratchcards, so it makes no sense that there aren’t any available at the site. It’s hard to see who the site is supposed to appeal to or how.

Generation VIP logo

You need to do quite a few things right if you’re going to crack the VIP online casino market. The first is to come up with an ultra-exclusive, luxury look and feel for your website. Generation VIP falls at the first hurdle, as it has the same template-driven design as most of the other Spin Shake sister sites. Even if it hadn’t fallen at that hurdle, it would have hit the next one; a VIP casino should offer bonuses and promotions that you won’t find elsewhere on the same casino network. The £77 welcome promotion at Generation VIP is barely enough for it to be considered above average. This would be a perfectly adequate casino site if it was called something else, but the words “Generation VIP” write a cheque that the website can’t cash. It’s an average iGaming site pretending to be something better.

Mr Mega logo

We have no idea why, but Spin Shake sister sites with the prefix “Mr” tend to be thought of as being superior to the rest of the casinos on the AG Communications network. Mr Play is, in the eyes of thousands of players, the very best of the whole family. Mr Rex is another strong contender, as is Mr Mega. It’s possible that all three casinos belong to the same white-label AG Communications partner, but it’s impossible to verify that as the partners remain anonymous. In any event, Mr Mega is very much like Karamba. It has the full suite of AG Communications slots and live dealer games plus the sportsbook but leans into the sportsbook a little more heavily than Karamba does. If it weren’t for the fact that the welcome promotion of £50 is a little stingy when compared to what’s available elsewhere on the platform, it would be a top-class site.

Campeon UK logo

“Campeon” is the Spanish word for “champion.” We know that quite a few of you didn’t need us to tell you that, but we’re explaining for the sake of the non-Spanish speakers out there. If you look at the header tab of the Campeon UK website, you’ll see that it claims to be a “winner of the new casino awards 2019.” There’s no such awards ceremony. It’s possible that Campeon UK did win an award that year, but it’s odd that it doesn’t specify the body that handed the award out. In any event, this isn’t the champion of the Spin Shake sister sites, even though it names itself as if it ought to be. It’s actually more comparable to Trada Casino in that it looks a little generic, but Campeon UK actually has a worse welcome promotion. There are too many bang-average casinos on the AG Communications platform, and Campeon UK is in that category.

Spin Shake operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

There are lots of casinos like Spin Shake on the AG Communications Limited platform, but then again, there are a lot of casinos on the AG Communications Limited platform, period. The network includes more than sixty Spin Shake sister sites, many of which are close matches for Spin Shake in terms of content and appearance. You’ll already know the reason for that if you read our shortlist of Spin Shake sister sites above; they were made with an identical template, and very few of the white-label partners involved in the running of the sites have opted to make major adjustments to the template. We get the whole “why fix something that isn’t broken” mindset, but the style of the template is increasingly dated. The strategy won’t work forever.

Behind the scenes, AG Communications Limited is little more than a shell company. It doesn’t directly employ anybody, and it doesn’t even really host any of the casinos that appear on its UK Gambling Commission licence. Outside the UK – and in every way that matters – the casinos belong to Aspire Global. Aspire Global is the company that made them and Aspire Global is the company that secures relationships with white-label partners to bring them to the market. This Malta-based casino network company has been using that business model since 2005 and has enjoyed excellent success while doing so. In fact, it’s enjoyed so much success that NeoGames decided to get in on the action by buying Aspire Global in 2022 and adding it to its increasingly massive iGaming portfolio.

Spin Shake Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

New players at Spin Shake can claim a one hundred per cent matched deposit promotion worth up to a maximum of £50, applicable to first deposits only. The promotion comes with twenty-five free spins on Starburst, which is the single most popular slots game at the casino. The bonus pot is saddled with an x40 wagering requirement, though, as will be anything you may be able to win from the free spins on Starburst. That’s five higher than the wagering requirement you’ll find at almost all the Spin Shake sister sites.

Other Promotions

Spin Shake lists the Pragmatic Play “Drops and Wins” slots and games as promotions and also regularly lists Play’n Go’s seasonal tournaments and competitions as promotions, too. In terms of promotions and perks that are offered by the casino directly, though, the welcome promotion is all there is. Spin Shake doesn’t have any loyalty rewards, and there’s no mechanism for allocating further free spins or matched deposits once the welcome bonus has been used.

Top Games at Spin Shake

Somebody at Spin Shake really, really loves Starburst by NetEnt. It’s the only casino game that appears on the promotional banners that scroll past on the Spin Shake homepage. It’s listed in the top row of the “featured games” section on the same page, and it’s the recipient of the twenty-five free spins that come with the welcome promotion. We can’t say we blame them – it’s the most popular slots game ever made and is as potent now as it was when it was brand-new more than a decade ago. Other popular or featured slots and games at Spin Shake include Book of Dead, Book of Itza, and Gold Blitz. From this, we can say that Spin Shake is more interested in hits from days of yore than it is in brand-new games – although there’s a separate category for those if that’s what you’re looking for.

Customer Support and Licensing

Customer support at Spin Shake can only be accessed by selecting the “FAQ” option in the website’s footer. Even then, all you’ll find is a link through which you can send the casino emails. That’s poor quality customer care, and the casino ought to be doing better. In terms of licensing, Spin Shake is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence no. 39483. The licence, which is held by AG Communications Limited, is subject to additional operating conditions and has a formal warning attached to it. The warning and the extra conditions have been there since November 2022, when the operator admitted to a UKGC charge of not making sure that its white-label partners were carrying out adequate source-of-funds checks on player accounts. For this offence, AG Communications was also fined £237,600.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Spin Shake supports e-wallet withdrawals. The e-wallets it supports are Skrill, MuchBetter, and PayPal, and all three should receive funds in no more than forty-eight hours. Transactions might even be instant. Transactions might be instant on Trustly, too, but could take up to 96 hours. The wait for debit card withdrawals might be longer still, with a possibility of instant withdrawals but an equal possibility of a six-working-day wait. Spin Shake doesn’t explain why the wait should be so long. Bank transfers are also supported as a withdrawal method, as are AstroPay transactions, but instant withdrawals aren’t supported for either option.

Final Thoughts on Spin Shake

Spin Shake would be a good name for a milkshake cafe or a casino that specialises in online slots. Spin Shake offers both slots and live casino games, so it theoretically exceeds its brief, but it has a couple of issues. There’s no excuse we’re willing to accept for not offering live chat support to players when some of the Spin Shake sister sites do, and the lack of promotions hurts the casino’s long-term appeal. Spin Shake might be fun for a quick spin, but we doubt it’s about to become your new favourite casino.
