Karamba sister sites 2023

Kaiser Slots logo

Some of the Karamba sister sites have more to offer than others. By that, we mean that some of them are all-singing, all-dancing casinos with live dealer games and sportsbooks to go with their core range of slots and table games. Karamba itself is a good example of that category. There are, however, casinos that go the other way. They focus on slots so exclusively that there’s nothing else to play with at the site. If you’re a fan of the slots collection at Karamba, but you find that the rest of the content is an unwanted distraction, you might want to take a look at Kaiser Slots. It’s not going to bowl you over with either its looks or its promotions, but it’s a simplified slots site that doesn’t allow anything else to get in the way. In that respect, it’s something of a throwback casino.

Hot 7 Casino logo

There are quite a lot of Karamba sister sites that look like Hot 7 Casino. Karamba is one of them, as the two iGaming sites share the same curious lavender-based colour scheme. If you’re expecting Hot 7 Casino to be as comprehensive a casino site as Karamba, though, you’ll need to re-align your expectations. Hot 7 Casino is a lot more like Kaiser Slots in that it doesn’t offer anything beyond slots and table games. If promotions matter to you, though, this is a better site than Kaiser slots. Rather than the weak £10 promotion that awaits new players at that site, Hot 7 Casino offers a structured welcome promotion that could be worth £200 if players are able to pay in enough to take full advantage of it. Regardless of whether you do or you don’t, though, that’s the only difference between the sites, save for the aforementioned lavender shade.

Chilli Spins logo

Chilli Spins should probably be a lot better than it actually is. The Mexican theme is a popular one among online slots and casino players, as evidenced by the popularity of games that use the theme. The “hot chilli” theme is also a big hit – that’s why Extra Chilli, Chilli Heat, and Chilli Fruits are all popular slots. All of those games are available in the Chilli Spins portfolio, which makes it bizarre that none of them appear on its homepage. That oversight is bad enough, but the fact that the background of Chilli Spins is a plain shade of boring, dull grey is even harder to explain. There’s a well-made bespoke banner graphic on the homepage in an attempt to create a fiesta atmosphere, but it’s cancelled out by all the grey. Even the Chilli Spins welcome promotion offers free spins on Starburst rather than anything Mexico-related. It’s all one big missed opportunity.

Hopa Casino logo

You’d never know from looking at Hopa that this casino offers a bigger welcome promotion than any other member of the Karamba sister sites family. It’s strange, but it’s true. So long as you have the bankroll to take advantage of the various matched deposit offers that exist for new players at this casino, you could end up with a bonus pot of £500 plus one hundred free spins. Hardly any of the other casinos on the AG Communications Limited platform go even half as high. Unfortunately, this promotion is contained within one of the ugliest casinos on the platform. We don’t mind that AG Communications uses a generic template to make most of its iGaming sites, but we do mind when it barely bothers to dress it up. Hopa is basic and plain, with zero visual flair. Even the logo looks like it was made in a hurry by someone who has no experience making logos.

Mr Play logo

The majority of players and reviewers concur that Mr Play is the best of the Karamba sister sites. It’s hard to disagree with that assessment. It’s certainly the most popular AG Communications iGaming site. If you’ve been around the block a few times on the UK casino scene, you’ll likely have seen the distinctive Mr Play moustache logo in a few places. This casino abandons the operator’s usual design template in favour of something more unique and modern and offers a reasonably generous welcome promotion with equally reasonable terms. On top of that, Mr Play is like Karamba in that it has sports betting to go with its standard portfolio of casino games. There’s even a designated area for instant win scratchcard games at Mr Play, which is something you won’t find at Karamba. The fact that so many people think it’s the best is a good enough reason to give it a visit.

Barbados Casino logo

If you close your eyes and think about the word “Barbados,” a few images will come to mind. Depending on how good your imagination is, you might hear the sound of the sea ebbing and flowing as the tide comes in and out and feel the sand between your toes. “Barbados” is an evocative word, but apparently not to the people who designed Barbados Casino. If it were, there’s no way they’d have created a grey-and-black casino with a weirdly gothic-looking logo and so little personality. Barbados Casino is every bit as bad a mismatch between name and appearance as Chilli Spins is. In fact, it’s a near-clone, right down to the use of a free spins-based welcome promotion rather than anything that delivers a pot of matched-deposit bonus funds. It’s so easy to get a Barbados theme right that we can’t even begin to imagine how AG Communications managed to get it so wrong here.

Slotsnplay logo

Slots N Play is, as the name suggests, an iGaming site that’s mostly about online slots. That doesn’t make it different from most other Karamba sister sites, as slots tend to be the focus almost everywhere on this casino platform. What does make Slots N Play a little different is the way that it uses the premium real estate on its homepage. There’s so much space and attention given to Gonzo’s Quest Megaways by NetEnt that there’s virtually no room left for anything else. We’re not disputing that it’s a great game – it’s probably the operator’s second-best invention after Starburst – but we’re not sure it’s so big a draw that it’s worth pushing all the casino’s other content out of the way to make space for it. There isn’t even any room left to promote the Slots N Play welcome offer, which is £100 plus one hundred free spins.

Karamba operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

Karamba is one of the most “complete” casinos on the AG Communications Limited network. That’s no small accolade, as the network is vast and includes various casino categories. Some of the Karamba sister sites focus on nothing other than slots. Others are primarily sports betting sites with a casino suite bolted on almost as an afterthought. Sites like Karamba try to do everything at once and aren’t always successful in doing so. That’s not necessarily down to AG Communications Limited itself, though. This is a white-label casino network. Paying customers decide what the casinos are called and what’s loaded onto each of them in terms of gaming content. AG Communications basically takes the money and does as it’s told.

White-label business partners aren’t the only people or entities that AG Communications Limited takes orders from; there’s also its parent company, Aspire Global. Calling Aspire Global the “parent company” if AG Communications Limited doesn’t really do justice to the relationship between the casino operators; in virtually every way that matters, they’re one and the same. That means that underneath the mask, this is a Malta-based operator that’s been involved in the iGaming business since 2005. That’s long enough to have been around the block a few times, which explains why Aspire Global operates a portfolio of 170+ iGaming sites in more than thirty countries. Fewer than half of the operator’s casinos are available in the UK; only those which are designated to AG Communications Limited. As big as Aspire Global is, there are always bigger fish. The company found that out in 2022 when it was targeted for acquisition by an iLottery company called NeoGames. The deal went through, and so AG Communications Limited is now a NeoGames property.

Karamba Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Karamba tends to be thought of as one of the biggest and best AG Communications Limited casinos, but you’d never reach that conclusion if you were to assess the sites on the platform by the size of their welcome promotions. For casino players, the welcome promotion at Karamba claims to be £50 as a matched deposit plus 100 bonus spins. Getting all the bonus spins is a little costly, though. First deposits attract a 100% match up to £50, with twenty free spins on Starburst in addition. You’ll have to make a second deposit of £20 to get another forty bonus spins on Wolf Gold, then £20 again as a third deposit to get the final set of forty bonus spins on Book of Dead. Bonus spins winnings and bonus funds come with an x35 wagering requirement.

If you’ve come to Karamba to bet on sports rather than spin reels, you can claim a £10 free sports bet by joining the casino, depositing £20, and then betting the £20 on any sporting matter with odds of at least evens.

Other Promotions

It looks like Karamba has loads of promotions to offer until you realise that most of the “promotions” are tournaments. There’s no way to guarantee that you’ll win anything from a tournament by taking a certain action or spending a certain amount, so we don’t count them as promotions. If you’re a casino player, that means the only promotion left is a weekly prize draw, which barely counts as a promotion for the same reason. There are extra promotions for sports bettors, but they include things like boosted odds on accumulator bets, cash-out options for live games, and more tournaments. In short, nothing you won’t find at any other big-name sports betting site.

Top Games at Karamba

We’ve already mentioned the top games at Karamba. It’s the three slots that the casino has seen fit to attach to its welcome promotion. That starts with Starburst, which is an unsurprising choice given how wildly popular it is with thousands of players. This NetEnt classic is set in space, offers sticky respins every time a wild symbol lands, and is known for its hypnotic atmosphere. Wolf Gold is one of the greatest games Pragmatic Play has ever made, which is no small thing to say about a provider that averages at least three new games every month. Landing multiple moon symbols on respins is the key to success in that game. That leaves Book of Dead in third place. It might not be the most popular Egyptian-themed slots game of all time, but this Play’n Go creation almost single-handedly started the “book of” trend, which is now almost everywhere you look at most big casino sites. As such, it’s one of the most influential slots ever made.

Customer Support and Licensing

A casino like Karamba should offer live chat support to its customers at the very least, but all it actually offers is email support between 8am and midnight. Karamba is covered by AG Communications Limited’s UK Gambling Commission licence, which is number 39483. There are extra conditions and a warning attached to the licence because of a UKGC investigation in 2022, which determined that several of the operator’s white-label partners were in breach of AML guidance. For the same offence, AG Communications Limited was fined £237,600.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

The full list of approved withdrawal methods at Karamba is Visa or Mastercard debit cards (with a turnaround time of no days to six working days), Trustly (with a turnaround of no days to four working days), PayPal, Skrill or MuchBetter e-wallets (no days to two working days), and AstroPay (three working days). You could also ask for a standard bank transfer if nothing else appeals to you, but your wait will be at least two working days and possibly six.

Final Thoughts on Karamba

Karamba is a mostly good casino site, but there are a couple of holes in its armour. The first is its unacceptably weak customer support. Plenty of Karamba sister sites offer live chat assistance; there’s no reason why Karamba can’t do the same. The second is its withdrawal policy. Plenty of top casinos can guarantee instant or same-day withdrawals; we have no idea why Karamba has to be so vague.

Karamba is the worst casino site of them all. I email them, but I don’t get replies. The free bet they emailed me about doesn’t exist. I’ve tried a lot of casinos, but I’ve never seen worse scammers than this lot.Dan, January 9th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

This is the worst casino I’ve ever played at. I put a bet of £600 on and didn’t even get a bonus from it. I’ve never experienced anything like this anywhere else. I won’t be back, and you shouldn’t sign up.Seb, December 13th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
I’ve been waiting for a withdrawal of just over £50 since the 5th of the month. My account is fully verified – I sent them my documents before I even started playing. They don’t answer emails from me, but they do send promotional emails inviting me to play and spend more. Keep away from Karamba. Richard, November 29th 2022. Source Trustpilot.
