Luckland sister sites 2023

Neptune Play logo

There are only two casinos on this entire platform that can truly be said to be 100% the property of AG Communications Limited. One of them is Neptune Play. The other is Jambo Casino. All of the other Luckland sister sites are white-label casinos, necessitating the involvement of at least one other person or entity. Does that make Neptune Play special? Sadly, no, it doesn’t. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with its undersea kingdom theme, but nor is there anything about Neptune Play that makes it stand out from most of the other casinos on the operator’s platform that was made using the same basic template. Our biggest worry about Neptune Play is that the casino has recently started listing Euros as its default currency rather than pounds sterling. That might indicate that AG Communications is planning on pulling it out of the UK market in the not-too-distant future.

Slotanza logo

There are plenty of reasons why you might be looking for Luckland sister sites. One of the most likely is that you’re looking for somewhere new to play online slots. That might make Slotanza sound like it’s the ideal place for you, as based on its name, it’s a slots specialist. That isn’t true, though – and even if it was, this is arguably the weakest of all the AG Communications Limited casinos. It doesn’t have any promotions to offer, and its homepage is desperately out of date. Towards the bottom of the page, the casino claims to have around two hundred games to offer. The full AG Communications Limited portfolio contains more than 1300 slots, and Slotanza has access to all of them. It hasn’t been as low as two hundred for several years, which suggests that it’s been several years since Slotanza received any notable updates. That’s reason enough to give it a wide berth.

Casiplay logo

Casiplay is a flashier site than most other Luckland sister sites. There’s a tendency for casinos on the AG Communications platform to be made using the same basic, uninspired template. Once you’ve started to notice the template, you’ll see it again and again as you tour the operator’s casino sites. Casiplay stands out because it takes the far more modern approach of using video content on its homepage. Sure, it might have been an idea to include more slots than just Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst in the video, but it’s still more interesting to look at than the homepages of most casinos on this network. While the design of the Casiplay homepage is modern, the slots it focuses on further down the page tend to be more traditional. Expect to see classics like Fire Joker, Gold King and Book of Dead. Someone at Casiplay really, really loves Play’n Go slots.

Griffon Casino logo

Like Slotanza, Griffon Casino has failed to keep itself up to date as time has passed. It’s not quite as badly out-of-date as Slotanza, though. Under the curious heading, “Get your Gaming On like a Griffon,” the casino proudly proclaims that it has over five hundred games available. We know for a fact that it has more than double that amount. We’re not sure how Griffons do their gaming, but given that they’re both ancient and mythical, we’d have to say that they don’t actually do very much gaming at all. It’s an odd choice of theme for an online casino, but we have to give it credit for being more original than the themes of most Luckland sister sites. Some of them don’t really have a theme at all, as we’re about to see when we move on to the next featured casino in this list.

Top Tally logo

If you ever find yourself wondering what the AG Communications Limited design template would look like if someone were to upload it without any decorations or accessories whatsoever, you need only look at Top Tally. All that’s been done with this site is that someone switched the default black background for a green one, added a basic logo, and then launched it. It’s as basic a casino as you’ll find among the Luckland sister sites (so long as you disregard the virtually broken ones like Slotanza), but that doesn’t mean that it’s awful. We could never say that a casino with more than 1300 games and a small-but-functional welcome promotion is “awful.” It simply isn’t a very exciting casino to look at, and it doesn’t have any unique selling points. In both form and function, it’s a lesser version of Luckland with far fewer gaming options, and we doubt that’s what you came here looking for.

Wild Slots logo

Wild Slots and Top Tally were both made with the same template, but they’re like chalk and cheese. Top Tally, as we’ve already said, was almost uploaded “as is” without any attempt made to improve the aesthetic appeal of the template. The people behind Wild Sloots took the opposite approach. Wild Slots is a casino with a wild animal theme and some high-quality graphics to look at when the homepage loads. Between the animal graphics and the burnt orange and black colour scheme, the casino looks exciting – and that’s half the battle in terms of attracting players. You’ll find larger welcome promotions than the one at Wild Slots at several of the other Luckland sister sites, but you’ll also find smaller ones elsewhere. Wild Slots isn’t one of the very best AG Communications casinos, but it’s one of the best of the mid-ranking ones.

Trada Casino logo

Trada Casino is a solid example of an average AG Communications Limited casino site. There’s nothing wrong with that – even the most average of the Luckland sister sites are better than the best casinos of quite a few other casino operators. The problem for casinos on this network isn’t so much standing out from casinos on other platforms as it is standing out from each other – and that’s where Trada Casino struggles. It doesn’t have a theme. It doesn’t have any especially eye-catching graphics. Its promotions aren’t any better or worse than the majority of other casinos on the AG Communications platform, and it doesn’t have any exclusive games. You’re more likely to have a good time at Trada Casino than you are at, for example, Luckland, but that alone isn’t a reason to recommend it. It’s not a bad casino site – just a fairly anonymous one.

Luckland operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

AG Communications Limited is one of the biggest casino operators in the UK today. There are several dozen operators that hold UK Gambling Commission licences, but only a handful of them can claim to offer as many casinos as AG Communications does. There are around sixty active iGaming sites on the operator’s platform at the moment. As impressive a number as that is, there used to be more. The AG Communications business model relies on opening white-label casinos – that is, making casinos according to specifications provided by third-party companies who ask for them – but if those third parties later fold or lose interest, the casinos close down. That’s one of the pitfalls of the ownership model, but it must also have plenty of rewards. If it didn’t, AG Communications and other white-label-based operators wouldn’t do it at all.

Everywhere outside the UK, AG Communications Limited is known as Aspire Global. Aspire Global was founded in Malta in 2005 and initially operated under a Malta Gaming Authority licence, but created AG Communications Limited as a vehicle through which it could enter the UK market in 2009. Aspire Global has since gone on to acquire a UKGC licence of its own, so we’re not clear on why it hasn’t switched its casinos across to that licence. We assume the company has its reasons. The total number of casinos on the Aspire Global platform is close to two hundred, so only a portion of the company’s creations are open to UK players. Aspire Global was bought out by NeoGames in 2022, thus ending the independence the company had enjoyed since the day it was founded.

Luckland Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Luckland has both a sportsbook and a casino. Accordingly, it has a sports betting welcome promotion and a casino welcome promotion – but players can only choose one. If your choice is to use the casino promotion, it’s a one hundred per cent matched first deposit up to £50, accompanied by fifty free spins on one of the casino’s top slots. Unfortunately, the wagering requirement for both the bonus and anything won from the free spins is x40. That’s five higher than you’ll find at almost any of the Luckland sister sites.

The welcome promotion for sports bettors is far more simple. All new players can claim a £10 free sports bet by joining Luckland, depositing £15 and betting it as a single wager on any sport with odds of evens or above. The free bet token is then awarded automatically.

Other Promotions

The biggest additional promotion at Luckland as far as casino fans are concerned is the “Mega Fun Break.” It’s a matched deposit bonus that can be claimed on any day of the week, but the value of the matched deposit depends on how much you’re willing to spend. Deposits of between £30 and £50 attract a twenty per cent match, but deposits of £50-100 get a thirty per cent match. Any deposit of £101 or more gets a forty per cent match. The correct code has to be input to trigger the bonus when making the qualifying deposit, so read the information on the promotions page carefully. Small additional perks and bet boosts are also available for sports bettors.

Top Games at Luckland

The fact that Luckland is thought of as one of the top casinos on this platform becomes a little surprising when you look at the games it features on its homepage. They’re all great games, but they’re the same slots you’ll find in the “featured games” section of most Luckland sister sites. They’re even in the same order; for example, Book of Dead by Play’n Go is the first slots game you’ll see. Secret of Dead, which is one of many sequels to the original Book of Dead, is positioned right next to it, which might be overkill as far as the Egyptian theme goes. Starburst, which is NetEnt’s most famous game and arguably the most popular casino game ever made, is the third game on the top row at Luckland. The last entry is Wolf Gold by Pragmatic Play, which won countless awards in 2018 and is as important to Pragmatic Play as Starburst is to NetEnt.

Customer Support and Licensing

Luckland’s customer support staff can only be contacted via email, which is disappointing. You’ll find the link through the “help” button on the homepage. Luckland’s UK Gambling Commission licence is number 39483, which belongs to its parent company AG Communications Limited. AG Communications operates with a warning on its record and additional licence conditions in place following a regulatory review in 2022, the conclusion of which was that some of the operator’s white-label partners were in breach of anti-money laundering rules. For the same offence, the operator was fined a sum in excess of £237K.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Players wanting fast withdrawals from Luckland are best advised to use an e-wallet. The casino supports Skrill, PayPal and MuchBetter, and offers a turnaround of no more than forty-eight working hours. If you don’t have an e-wallet, use Trustly. That way, you’ll be waiting no more than four days. If all you have is a Visa or Mastercard debit card, you could still get an instant withdrawal but might face a six-day wait. Instant withdrawals aren’t possible using AstroPay (three days) or bank transfers (two to six days), but the options are still there if you want to use them.

Final Thoughts on Luckland

If Luckland didn’t have a sportsbook attached to it, we suspect that it would be seen as a deeply average AG Communications Limited casino site. It does have a sportsbook attached to it, though, and that’s what makes it stand out from the crowd a little. It’s still not among the best that the operator has to offer, though – it would need to do better with its customer support options if it wanted to reach that level.

Luckland Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Luckland. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★
Luckland is terrible. I’ve won money from the casino, but it’s been withheld from me for three weeks, and all I get from the site is automated responses.LG, January 29th 2023. Source Trustpilot.

★★★★
I joined Luckland and deposited £120. I lost most of it and decided to take the last £20 back out again. They instantly asked me for a bank statement as ID, which they didn’t do when I deposited. When I complained about this, they logged me out of my account and blocked it. This is no way to run a business; it’s a scam.Gareth, December 13th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★★
Luckland is one of the best. I get instant cashouts from this site, and it plays fair.Vicki, December 12th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Be wary of this scam casino. If you win too much, they limit your account. Also, they charge a fee for withdrawals and deposits. That’s theft, and I’ve notified the Gambling Commission.Lorenzo, November 24th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
This is a terrible casino. The site is slow, the layout is poor, and it’s hard to find your way around. There are charges to deposit and more charges to withdraw. The withdrawals always take six days. From top to bottom, it’s rubbish. Steve, November 12th 2022. Source Trustpilot.
