Wish Bingo sister sites 2023

Bingo Storm logo

The choice of the name “bingo storm” is an odd one for this iGaming site. When you arrive on its homepage, you’ll find that it’s all blue skies and fluffy clouds. It’s pleasant enough to look at, but it certainly isn’t a storm. This isn’t the only one of the Wish Bingo sister sites to fail to live up to its name, though. As good as Bingo Storm looks, its chief problem is that it’s insubstantial. It lacks the big welcome promotion that’s a hallmark of so many of the other Grand Battery Holdings Limited bingo sites and also makes the hard-to-explain decision not to feature any bingo games on its homepage. Instead, it showcases a handful of online slots games. Again, it’s not the only one of the Wish Bingo sister sites to make this strange choice. If it’s bingo you’re after, though, it’s safe to say you’ll find better options on the operator’s platform than this one.

Quality Bingo logo

Quality Bingo is guilty of telling a little lie right in the middle of its homepage. When you arrive on the Quality Bingo website, the very first thing you’re likely to notice is a huge banner announcement confirming that this is “your new excellent UK bingo site.” Aside from being terrible grammar, that statement is also untrue. There’s nothing new about Quality Bingo except for the fact that it’s now on the Grand Battery Holdings Limited platform; the site has been online for several years. “Excellent” is an objective claim, but Quality Bingo helps itself in that department by offering 105 bingo tickets to all new players. It’s not a patch on Wink Bingo, but that’s very much the problem when you’re looking for Wish Bingo sister sites – Wink Bingo and 888 Ladies are there at the top of the three, and none of the other iGaming sites on the platform are of the same quality.

Wink Bingo logo

We’ve just mentioned Wink Bingo, so you already have a pretty good idea of what we think of it. If you’re after Wish Bingo sister sites – which we know you are – then Wink Bingo ought to be your first port of call. It’s not only the best-looking of any of the Grand Battery Holdings Limited sites, including casino sites as well as bingo sites – it also offers the best range of entertainment. We’d even put it above 888 Ladies in that respect, and 888 Ladies is the peak of the platform as far as a lot of players are concerned. Its comic book cartoon style is very well executed, it comes with every single bingo room that its operator is able to provide, its promotions are well-balanced, and it also offers slots. It isn’t possible to ask for any more on this platform – this is as good as it gets.

Loadsa Bingo logo

Loadsa Bingo doesn’t know what it wants to be. We’ve already said that Bingo Storm is a little confused about whether it’s supposed to be a slots site or a bingo site, but it’s solidly bingo-based compared to Loadsa Bingo, which is a bingo site in name only. We have no idea why so many of the Wish Bingo sister sites make this mistake, but we think it’s high time that Grand Battery Holdings Limited did something about it. Your key indicator that all isn’t as it should be at Loadsa Bingo is that the first thing you’ll see when the homepage loads is the face of “John Hunter,” the ripoff Indiana Jones character from the range of Pragmatic Play slots that bear his name and likeness. There aren’t any John Hunter bingo games, so bingo isn’t the focus of the homepage or the site in general. It’s a shame because there are bingo games here if you go looking for them, but they’re an afterthought.

Hunky Bingo logo

Hunky Bingo isn’t an iGaming site that could ever be described as shy. Its tongue is firmly planted in its cheek, and for the sake of clarity, we’re talking about the cheeks in your face. We need to make that clarification because Hunky Bingo is just a little bit saucy. You won’t find any other Wish Bingo sister sites chucking innuendos at you on their homepages, but then you won’t find any handsome tennis-playing men presented as eye candy on the homepages of any of the other Wish Bingo sister sites, either. There are still issues to address here, though; despite promising “bulging jackpots,” Hunky Bingo has some of the weakest promotions on this entire platform. That’s unlikely to matter to you if you win big in any of the jackpot bingo rooms, but we’re afraid we’ll have to accuse the host of Hunky Bingo of lying about the size of his package.

Wicked Jackpots logo

Wicked Jackpots was never one of the very top casino sites on the old 888 UK Limited casino platform, but it was better known than quite a few of the bingo-based Wish Bingo sister sites we’ve looked at so far. We’re not sure whether that’s still the case, as it’s been a while since Wicked Jackpots benefitted from any sustained promotional campaigns. It’s also a shadow of what it used to be. You wouldn’t necessarily know that Wicked Jackpots has been stripped down by looking at its homepage, as it still looks as slick as it always has, but try to find promotions on its website. In fact, we’ll save you the time – apart from the welcome promotion, every bonus that Wicked Jackpots used to offer has gone. It’s still fine if you’re after somewhere basic to play slots, but it’s no more than that.

Costa Bingo logo

A few years ago, Costa Bingo would have been worth a decent chunk of the money that Broadway Gaming paid the 888 Group to acquire its former websites on its own. That’s because a few years ago, Costa Bingo was welcoming thousands of players every day and expanding its popularity through a series of TV adverts. Those days are gone, but Costa Bingo still clings to them with its “as seen on TV” boast on its homepage. This casino and bingo site – still one of the best-known Wish Bingo sites despite entering its wilderness years – has been online since 2009 and welcomed more than 900,000 players between the time it opened and the time it was sold to its new owners. We can’t help but wonder whether it’ll ever make it to one million. For that to happen, we suspect its dated decor will need a total overhaul.

Wish Bingo operator – Grand Battery Holdings Limited

grand battery casinos logo

In what initially looks like a remarkable feat of expansion, Grand Battery Holdings Limited has amassed a portfolio of over two hundred casino and iGaming sites since its inception in 2022. In reality, all of these sites were previously owned by 888 UK Limited. They were put up for sale in late 2021 as the 888 Group sought to shift its focus to sports betting and select high-end casino sites. Despite attracting multiple bids from rival casino network companies, the top offer of £38m came from Dublin-based Broadway Gaming Limited, who some experts felt may have secured a bargain given the calibre of brands involved. Rather than integrating the newly acquired sites with its existing bingo offerings, Broadway Gaming instead established Grand Battery Holdings Limited as a dedicated holding company, preferring not to add the new assets to the UK Gambling Commission licence that it already held.

Grand Battery Holdings Limited has carved out a distinctive niche among casino network companies. The company was specifically created by Broadway Gaming to serve as a buffer between the former 888 Group iGaming sites and Broadway Gaming itself, with the aim of obtaining a fresh UK Gambling Commission license. After securing the license in February 2022, Grand Battery Holdings took over ownership of the sites. Despite managing the largest number of sites of any casino operator in the UK, the company is essentially a shell with no employees, website, or clear corporate identity. The company’s registered address is the same as Broadway Gaming’s, and even the logo displayed above was designed by us, as Grand Battery Holdings does not have a logo of its own.

Wish Bingo Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The Wish Bingo welcome promotion is a pretty good one. First deposits at this site attract a boost of 300% up to an absolute maximum of £200 and come with thirty bonus spins on Fruit Blast for all those who want to play slots as well as bingo. There are wagering requirements to deal with, but they’re comparatively reasonable; just x2 if you’re happy to stick to bingo or x30 if you want to take your bonus money and play slots with it instead. For context, the UK average for wagering requirements on slots is x35, and for bingo, it’s x3.

Other Promotions

The loyalty reward scheme here will be very familiar if you’ve played at any Wish Bingo sister sites before. For every £1 players spend on bingo, they receive one “Coin.” Players can also get “Coins” playing slots, but at a more expensive rate of one per £10 spent. These “Coins” buy rewards inside the Wish Bingo shop, which contains everything from bingo tickets to free spins and special codes for matched deposit offers. The basic idea here is that rather than having to accept whatever promotion the site pushes at you, players can pick their favourites. Cashback is also available at Wish Bingo, albeit at a low rate of three per cent per day, and capped at £100. Other seasonal promotions may occasionally be available.

Top Games at Wish Bingo

We have two concerns when it comes to the top games at Wish Bingo. The first is that the “new game” highlighted on the homepage is Divine Dreams by Quickspin. That’s a slots game rather than a bingo game, and having been released in 2019, it’s not really “new.” Our second concern is that there aren’t any bingo games referenced by name on the homepage of the site at all. You have to click into a sub-menu to find the bingo games, and even then, they’re only presented as an overview. You’ll have to click a second time to find them, and that’s where things get even worse. There are only four bingo games at Wish Bingo – 90 Ball bingo, 75 Ball bingo, 5 Line Bingo, and 52-5 Bingo. They’re basic games, and they come without themes. There simply isn’t enough gaming content at Wish Bingo to make the site viable.

Customer Support and Licensing

Despite the lack of live chat support at Wish Bingo, players can easily access the help they need by calling the freephone number 0808 238 7546 or sending an email to the dedicated support team at support@supportbingoonline.com. Wish Bingo operates under the regulatory authority of the UK Gambling Commission, which granted licence number 58267 to Grand Battery Holdings in February 2022. There are no fines, warnings or other sanctions on the operator’s licence as of the time of writing.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Wish Bingo’s withdrawal process leaves much to be desired. Only UK-registered debit cards or PayPal can be used for cash-outs, and each withdrawal request takes two days to process. After that, PayPal withdrawals can take an additional 2-3 business days to complete, while debit card withdrawals might not complete for up to 5 business days. Players are entitled to be annoyed by these lengthy delays, especially in an era where the top online casinos offer same-day withdrawals as standard.

Final Thoughts on Wish Bingo

Whoever designed Wish Bingo put a lot of effort into presentation, and it paid off. It’s a striking site and looks like it offers quality. Sadly, it’s all a facade. It’s difficult to find games at Wish Bingo, and even when you do find them, they’re not really worth finding. There are far, far better bingo sites on the Grand Battery Holdings Limited network than this one. Look at Wink Bingo instead.

Wish Bingo Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Wish Bingo. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

No players have left any reviews of Wish Bingo on any major review websites in the past twelve months. We don’t like to bring our readers out-of-date reviews, as they’re not a fair reflection of the site as it currently exists. Wish Bingo used to attract reviews regularly, so the fact that it doesn’t any more might reflect a decline in popularity. If new reviews are written in the future, we’ll list them here.
