Ruby Bet sister sites 2023

RH Casino logo

RH Casino might not have a name that makes it sound like a top-class, formal casino, but that’s what it sets out to be. Its name plays into the attempted theme – the initials stand for “Royal House,” so this is “Royal House Casino.” The immaculately-dressed casino perched in front of a roulette wheel on the casino’s homepage confirms what kind of vibe the site is going for. The issue is that it never really gets there. Whichever one of ProgressPlay Limited’s white-label casino partners worked with the operator on the design of RH Casino opted to use the most basic of the operator’s design templates, so RH Casino doesn’t look any more upmarket than about a dozen other Ruby Bet sister sites. It doesn’t look bad, and it might pass for a good-looking casino site if you’ve never seen the others, but it lacks the knockout factor it would need in order to make a success out of the theme.

Euro Millions logo

There are a couple of Ruby Bet sister sites that belong to a totally different category from all the others. Euro Millions is one of them, and National Lottery is the other. Neither casino has any formal or informal connections to Camelot, and neither of them are the official sites of the gambling products they represent. They’re lottery syndicate sites, but they have casinos attached to them. ProgressPlay Limited has nothing to do with the lottery side of the sites, but they provide them sites with casino games, licensing, and support. We find it hard to imagine that anyone visits the Euro Millions website with the intention of playing slots or traditional games, but a few might be tempted into playing while they’re there. ProgressPlay Limited is happy to provide both the temptation and the facility. Even with that in mind, though, Euro Millions isn’t one of the operator’s top sites.

BB Casino logo

We know what the “RH” in “RH Casino” stands for, but we have no idea what the “BB” in “BB Casino” means. We suspect that at least one of the B’s stands for “basic,” though because that’s what BB Casino is. This is another iteration of the design template that you’ll find at RH Casino and plenty of other Ruby Bet sister sites. Again, it’s not an ugly template, and it doesn’t result in bad casino sites, but if you’re looking for Ruby Bet sister sites, there’s a fair chance that you’re looking for a change of scenery. The issue with the ProgressPlay Limited casino range is that the scenery doesn’t really change very much from site to site. We also find that the £300 welcome promotion at BB Casino is a tad misleading – you’ll need to make three deposits if you want to claim all £300 on it, and the matched deposit percentage isn’t as high as you’d normally expect it to be.

Winston Bet logo

The Ruby Bet sister sites we’ve looked at thus far might not be what you had in mind if you mostly used Ruby Bet for the purpose it was designed for – sports betting. Winston Bet might be more in line with what you had in mind. 2020 wasn’t a great year to be launching new businesses (or even keeping existing ones open), but Winston Bet came to life that year and is beginning to establish itself as a viable option for people in search of a new sports betting home. Based on the casino’s aesthetic, though, we suspect that most of those players aren’t based in the UK. If they were, the site wouldn’t use an ice hockey player in the middle of the splash banner on its homepage. Like most sports-focused ProgressPlay sites, Winston Be comes with a fully functional casino attached to it.

Pots of Gold logo

You never have to go very far in the world of iGaming before you find a casino with an Irish theme. The popularity of the theme is reflected in some of the most popular online slots of all time, including the whole Barcrest Rainbow Riches series. There are a few Irish-themed casinos among the Ruby Bet sister sites, but you wouldn’t say that many of them – if any of them at all – do a very good job with the Irish theme. Pots of Gold tries to oblige with a green background and a single image of a pot of gold, but that’s all it can muster. This is, yet again, a side effect of the template that the designers of Pots of Gold used when they were putting the casino together. It’s a fairly rigid template, leaving little room for improvisation or customisation.

Vegas Mobile Casino logo

Three or four of the Ruby Bet sister sites belong to an era of online casino gaming that no longer exists. Vegas Mobile Casino is one of them. Back when Vegas Mobile Casino launched in 2013, the world of online casinos was a very different place. So was the world of mobile phones. Mobile handsets – even the best ones – couldn’t cope with the demands of online casinos or the games that appeared on them. Special, scaled-down games and sites had to be made for people who wanted to play on their phones, and that’s why sites like Vegas Mobile Casino came along. Most casinos of this kind closed down long ago because they’re no longer necessary, but Vegas Mobile Casino must have had a large enough following to keep going. The site looks sparse and basic, but cut it some slack – it was designed to load on a mobile phone over ten years ago.

Mr Slot logo

Mr Slot is a casino site that gets straight to the point with its name. Nobody could ever say that they don’t know what they’re getting when they visit a casino site called Mr Slot. In focusing squarely on this one form of casino gaming, Mr Slot puts itself at odds with most of the Ruby Bet sister sites. Not all of them offer sports betting to go with their extensive libraries of casino games, but most of them at least offer live dealer games to go with their slots. Mr Slot doesn’t do that. If it did, it wouldn’t be worthy of the name “Mr Slot.” This casino offers a (comparatively) limited number of games and a modest set of promotions, but for players who just want to spin a few reels and don’t care about any other bells or whistles, it might be perfect.

Ruby Bet operator – ProgressPlay Limited

progressplay casinos logo

Malta, an island nation in Europe, hosts more casino network companies than you’d expect to find in a country so small. That has a lot to do with its tax policies, which provide excellent conditions for iGaming companies to work with. ProgressPlay is one of the many companies taking advantage of those policies and has been doing so ever since the company was founded in 2012. It’s been active in the iGaming world for more than a decade now and has expanded considerably. Aside from the Malta office, there are ProgressPlay Limited offices in Cyprus and the UK, where its base is in London. The ProgressPlay workforce is generally thought to be at or over three hundred, and some sources state that the company generates fifty million pounds per year in turnover. Those are impressive numbers. Given the sheer number of iGaming territories that ProgressPlay has access to with its multiple licenses, including those of India and Canada, perhaps the numbers aren’t surprising.

ProgressPlay Limited didn’t get this big by making casino websites and running them itself. With a handful of exceptions, the Ruby Bet sister sites on the operator’s platform are white-label sites, just as Ruby Bet itself is. Business customers are drawn to ProgressPlay because of the quality of its turnkey proposition, and pay the company to make casino and betting sites for them. There were once more than two hundred such sites available to players in the UK alone, but numbers have dwindled a little in recent years. Even with that being said, though, there are still more than 130 active casino sites covered by the company’s UK Gambling Commission licence.

Ruby Bet Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Ruby Bet is primarily a sports betting site, but it also has a casino attached to it. As such, its welcome promotion represents a chance to sample everything the site has to offer. Join the site and make a qualifying bet of £10, and you’ll receive a £20 free bet plus thirty free spins to use on the site’s casino games. Winnings from the spins or the free bet must be wagered x1 before they can be withdrawn. That’s far friendlier than the wagering requirements you’ll find at most Ruby Bet sister sites.

Other Promotions

Ruby Bet has a rewards store, and it’s open to everybody. To gain access to it, all you need to do is play and deposit regularly. If you want access to the best rewards, though, you’ll have to take part in the Ruby Bet missions and/or take part in the other, smaller promotions at the site to boost the number of reward points in your account. The more points you have, the higher your “level” is – and your level determines the quality of rewards available to you. A typical reward at Ruby Bet is a free bet or a matched deposit, but plenty of other perks are also available in the store. New promotions are added to Ruby Bet semi-regularly and often pertain to specific sports or contests, so if promotions matter to you, you’ll want to check the rewards page each time you log in.

Top Games at Ruby Bet

The glib response here would be to say that there aren’t any top games at Ruby Bet. You won’t see a single slots or casino game featured on the homepage of Ruby Bet, even though the site has plenty of such games to offer. Instead, the star of the show at Ruby Bet is the sportsbook – and what a sportsbook it is. The ProgressPay Limited sports betting suite allows players to bet on more than one hundred different sports, rivalling anything you might find at a bigger-name betting site. In an average month, players receive more than fifty thousand betting opportunities. It’s a football betting site above all other things, but every professional sport you can think of is represented.

Customer Support and Licensing

There’s no telephone number for Ruby Bet, and you can’t live chat with anybody, but if you type a message into the chat box in the “support” section, someone ought to get back to you within a few minutes. If you don’t want to wait or you have a long-form query, email customersupport@instantgamesupport.com. Bear in mind that the same inbox is shared by all the Ruby Bet sister sites, so getting replies to emails may take a while. Ruby Bet is one of nearly 130 casinos covered by UK Gambling Commission licence 39335, awarded to ProgressPlay Limited. The operator elected to pay £175,178 to settle a regulatory matter with the UKGC in May 2022 after being accused of failing to meet its AML and customer protection obligations. The alternative was to face formal disciplinary action.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Ruby Bet’s withdrawal process isn’t great. The site charges 1% for withdrawals, which is annoying even if the cap is low at £3. The one-day wait for the site to process withdrawals is also annoying, as it means you can’t get your money instantly. Neteller users get the best treatment from Ruby Bet, as their total wait is one day for processing plus one day for fund transfer. The fund transfer delay is three days for ecoPayz users. We have a hard time understanding why that potentially rises to seven days for PayPal users, but it does. Players who withdraw with their Maestro, Visa or Mastercard debit card face the same delay.

Final Thoughts on Ruby Bet

Ruby Bet is a sports betting site, and its sportsbook is fantastic. The question that only you can answer is whether you’re prepared to put up with being charged for withdrawals and waiting quite a long time for money to reach you. If you’re not in a rush for cash, you might be happy playing at Ruby Bet for the long term – especially with its rewards for loyalty.

Ruby Bet Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Ruby Bet. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★
Ruby Bet is a scam. You have been warned. I have no problem with losing when gambling is fair, but I care when a site scams me. I have recorded a four-hour session of betting at this site, and proved that it’s fixed. I’ve sent evidence to the UKGC and the MGA. Don’t play here. David, December 15th 2022. Source Trustpilot.

★★★★
Customer service at Ruby Bet is awful. I asked them a question, and they just copied and pasted their terms and conditions to me. I didn’t realise making a withdrawal would affect my bonus, but they weren’t helpful when I told them I’d made this innocent mistake. Avoid.Al, November 27th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
I’ve been with Ruby Bet for more than a year. Recently, I asked to withdraw £100. They asked me for so many documents that I ended up telling them to keep the money. Prior to that, they’d taken around £50 a month from me without ever asking for a shred of ID.Dave, October 31st 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
This is a shocking betting site. I’ve got a £225 withdrawal stuck in “pending” because they won’t verify my account. They won’t accept proof of my address no matter what I send them. They do everything possible to prevent a withdrawal.Al, October 19th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Ruby Bet is the worst site I’ve played at in my twenty years of betting. It spent three days “reviewing” my £280 withdrawal before telling me that I haven’t sent them the right verification documents. I sent what they asked for, and then they declared my bet null and void because I’d “changed betting patterns.” I’ve raised a complaint with the Gambling Commission. Bob, October 2nd 2022.
