Moon Bingo sister sites 2023

Mint Bingo logo

Mint Bingo looks like it ought to be a five-star bingo site, but looks can sometimes be deceiving. It’s certainly a site with plenty of great games to offer, and it offers comprehensive all-round customer support, but there’s something very important missing, and that’s promotions and rewards. Modern players expect to be rewarded for showing loyalty to an iGaming site, but Mint Bingo has no means of rewarding them. It’s far from the only one of the Moon Bingo sister sites to come up short in the promotional stakes – there are, in fact, loads of them – but Mint Bingo is especially disappointing because it’s not one of the generic template-based sites on the Grand Battery Holdings platform – it’s supposed to be one of the network’s premium bingo destinations. This is an easy problem for the operator to fix, though, and if it ever does, we’ll be happy to revise our opinion.

Dublin Wins logo

Dublin Wins might not be much use to you if you’re looking for Moon Bingo sites for the pure and simple reason that there isn’t any bingo to be had here, but we’ve taken this cross-section of the casinos and iGaming sites on the Grand Battery Holdings Limited platform to give you a genuine feel for what exists on the platform. Dublin Wins is actually one of the surprisingly few Irish-themed sites on the network when you consider how ubiquitous the theme is elsewhere. It has a host – a somewhat gruff-looking older Irish gentleman in a green hat and waistcoat – and approximately five hundred popular online slots games to choose from. It doesn’t have any promotions beyond its welcome offer, but we just illustrated that point as a weakness of the Moon Bingo sister sites when we were talking about Mint Bingo, so that’s not really much of a surprise.

Pink Ribbon Bingo logo

There are no Moon Bingo sister sites like Pink Ribbon Bingo. To be honest, there aren’t many iGaming sites in the world like Pink Ribbon Bingo. It’s one of the oldest still-operational bingo sites on the planet, having been online continuously since 1997. When it launched, it was the first bingo site in the world to support a charity. It still supports breast cancer charities today, and it’s arguably looking better than ever after a recent renovation. As part of the renovations – which was something of a necessity after the site switched networks – it was kitted out with a new selection of bingo rooms. You can rest assured that all of the best bingo games available on this iGaming network are there to be played at Pink Ribbon Bingo – and by playing here, you’re sending a little bit of money to good causes.

Safari Bingo logo

Quite a few of the Moon Bingo sister sites have made a real mess of things when it comes to their themes, and we’d readily include Moon Bingo itself in that statement. None of them, though, have made quite as big a mess of things as Safari Bingo has. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of safari-themed casino games out there, and quite a few safari-themed casino and bingo sites, too. Safari Bingo, despite what feels like an obvious clue in its name, isn’t one of them. You won’t find any of the “Big Five” here, nor catch any glimpses of the African savanna. The background is a plain shade of purple, and there’s not so much of a hint of discernible personality anywhere at the site. Throw in the fact that you have to do a lot of scrolling before you even find any bingo games, and it’s all a bit of a letdown.

Woman Bingo logo

While “Woman Bingo” sounds a little bit like caveman talk, there’s actually a perfectly good reason for this site to have such an unusual name. It’s called Woman Bingo because it’s the official (and only) bingo site of Woman Magazine, which has been read by thousands of women in the UK every week for decades. You might even recognise its branding in the above logo regardless of whether or not you’ve ever picked up a copy of the magazine. There are actually quite a few Moon Bingo sister sites that are hooked up with magazines in this fashion, with Pick Me Up Bingo being another good example. Sadly, they all have the same thing in common – they’re low-quality bingo sites, offering far too few bingo rooms and far too many slots to be worthy of the name “bingo.” It’s a curious design flaw, but it’s also commonplace on this platform.

Nutty Bingo logo

Nutty Bingo’s atmosphere might grate on a few players. It’s got the sort of vibe of the guy at work who insists on telling everyone else how “crazy” he is and then turns up at the Christmas party wearing a novelty wig and a feather boa – exactly like the guy on the promotional graphic on the Nutty Bingo homepage, in fact. If that doesn’t put you off Nutty Bingo, though, we can come up with plenty of other reasons to give it a miss. The most compelling of all of them is that there’s a near-total lack of bingo games to be found anywhere at the site. We have no idea why so many of the Moon Bingo sister sites promise bingo without delivering it, but it’s a common and baffling problem. We can’t even give Nutty Bingo high marks as a slots site because the slots that get pride of place on its homepage are all more than a decade old.

Deluxino logo

While more than a few of the Moon Bingo sister sites are guilty of telling a few little fibs on their homepages or with their names, Deluxino tells an outright lie. The name “Deluxino” is clearly supposed to make us think “Deluxe Casino,” but Deluxino is so unsuited to that description that it almost feels like someone tried to come up with a site as far away from the name as possible as a weird practical joke. Its welcome promotion of twenty-five free spins without any associated matched deposit bonus funds is among the worst that you’ll find anywhere on this platform. Even if we put that aside, it only has three hundred slots to offer. Nutty Bingo offers players more slots than that, and it’s not even a slots site. Deluxino is lightweight in every measurable way and is a far cry from the best casinos you’ll find under this operator’s umbrella.

Moon Bingo operator – Grand Battery Holdings Limited

grand battery casinos logo

The arrival of Grand Battery Holdings has been a seismic shift that rocked the UK gambling industry to its core. It began with 888 UK Limited turning its back on bingo and setting its sights on the burgeoning US sports betting market in 2021. This process of refocus involved the auction of over two hundred sites, including the entire 888 Group bingo portfolio, and the intense bidding war that ensued was a spectacle to behold. Emerging as the triumphant winner was Ireland’s Broadway Gaming Limited, which took ownership of the sites and later transferred them to Grand Battery Holdings Limited in February 2022. While some of the newly acquired assets were deemed failures and closed in early 2023, those that still have a loyal following remain online. Broadway Gaming’s acquisition has been lauded as a game-changer, with experts suggesting that the £38m purchase price was a steal for what they acquired.

Even though it was a shrewd move, Broadway Gaming was faced with a conundrum when it acquired the 888 Group’s sites – how to arrange licensing for them while avoiding any potential pitfalls. Extending its existing UK Gambling Commission license to cover the new assets could have been a regulatory nightmare, but Broadway Gaming’s innovative solution was to create Grand Battery Holdings Limited, a separate entity to manage the sites and obtain a fresh UKGC license. Though technically a subsidiary of Broadway Gaming, Grand Battery Holdings operates independently and holds a separate license, providing a secure path for Broadway Gaming to expand its reach and acquire valuable assets without any legal entanglements. This clever move may have created a template for others to follow when securing similar acquisitions in the future.

Moon Bingo Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The first thing you’ll notice about the Moon Bingo homepage is that the Moon is nowhere to be seen on it. The second thing you’ll (probably) notice about it is the presence of a 200% matched deposit welcome promotion, which comes with a cap of £100 and must be wagered x4 before any winnings can be withdrawn. That’s a fairly solid offer by the standards of the Mint Bingo sister sites, and it comes with fifty free spins split between two NetEnt slots – Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest. Anything won from those spins has to be wagered x35 before it’s eligible to be withdrawn.

Other Promotions

Quite a few of the iGaming sites under the Grand Battery Holdings Limited umbrella give up on bonuses after the welcome promotion, so it’s good to see that Moon Bingo goes a little further. On the homepage of the site, you’ll see graphics indicating the presence of daily jackpot prizes, a special prize wheel, and “trophies” which can somehow provide players with other rewards. What you won’t find is any explanation of how these bonuses work. There’s no promotions page to check, and there’s nothing specific in the site’s full terms and conditions. We’re glad the extra promotions exist, but we can’t say how good or bad they are if Moon Bingo is so determined not to tell us anything.

Top Games at Moon Bingo

After making a reasonably strong start with its promotions, it’s disappointing to see that Moon Bingo offers the same generic collection of games as around one hundred other sites on this network. That’s especially bad news if you’re here for the bingo games, as there are only four clickable categories for them – 1p Bingo Games, Live Bingo Rooms, Daily Bingo Jackpot games, and Mystery Jackpots. You’ll find more games within the categories when you click on the thumbnails, but you won’t find the same range or quality as you’ll find at the likes of Pink Ribbon Bingo or Mint Bingo. Moon Bingo actually has far more slots than it does bingo games, which seems counter-intuitive.

Customer Support and Licensing

All the customer support boxes are ticked at Moon Bingo. You can call the freephone number 0800 238 9836 between 8am and midnight every day to get assistance over the phone, use the 24/7 live chat facility provided on the “contact us” page, or email support@helpbingo.com to get help that way instead. All iGaming activities at Moon Bingo are covered by UK Gambling Commission licence 58267, which Grand Battery Holdings Limited was awarded in February 2022. The operator has never been fined, sanctioned or warned about its conduct by the UKGC.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Moon Bingo’s withdrawal process can quickly kill the buzz of a win. The limited withdrawal options – only PayPal e-wallets and debit cards – mean players are stuck for choice. They’re also subject to a mandatory 48-hour processing period before transactions are even approved (or rejected). Unfortunately, the frustration doesn’t end there. If you choose to withdraw through PayPal, prepare to wait an extra 2-3 business days for your funds to clear. Even worse, debit card withdrawals can take up to five business days to process. This outdated and sluggish payout process stands in stark contrast to the speedy withdrawals offered by the top online casinos in the UK, where instant payouts are the norm.

Final Thoughts on Moon Bingo

Moon Bingo is a difficult site to evaluate. If its promotions are as good as the site advertises them to be, it’s a rewarding place to play. The issue is that there isn’t enough information provided about them for us to be able to say whether they’re any good or not. The collection of games at the site is generic, but more than half of the Moon Bingo sister sites are guilty of that same offence. It’s probably above average for the network overall, but still not great.

Stay well away from this horrible company. I spent over £6000 playing here before winning £2000 and asking for a withdrawal, and they’re not giving it to me. I have screenshots of chats and records of phone calls which I’ll be giving to the press.Mohamed, March 16th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

Who are these people who claim that they’re winning £1000 or more from Moon Bingo when you can only play for pennies?Sharon, January 6th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

I made a couple of withdrawals from Moon Bingo, and all was fine, but when I landed a big win of £2500, I was suddenly asked for a lot more documents. I’ve sent them all, but I still don’t have my money. The phone numbers that the site lists for customer support don’t work.Jared, December 2nd 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
I stopped playing at Moon Bingo for a long time, but I’ve recently come back. I wagered £150 and didn’t get a single bonus round on any of the games. That’s why I stopped playing in the first place, and I won’t be coming back this time.Kstar, November 27th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Customer service at Moon Bingo is terrible; you never get the bonuses you’re supposed to receive. The operators on live chat are rude when you ask them about it. They don’t even try to help you.Wendy, September 28th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.
