888 Bingo sister sites 2023

Safari Bingo logo

None of the 888 Bingo sister sites can compete with 888 Bingo itself in terms of the scope and scale of the site, but there are plenty of other places to play bingo on the Grand Battery Holdings Limited iGaming network. Safari Bingo is as good a place to start as any, but it’s one of the most strangely-named sites on the whole platform. The name “Safari Bingo” makes no sense without a safari theme, and you can probably guess where we’re going with this. The site doesn’t have any theme at all, except perhaps for a few vague hints of a party atmosphere. It’s a good-looking site, and it’s a long way from being among the worst on this platform – there are some absolute stinkers – but it feels a little bland. Based on its name, there should be more to Safari Bingo than there actually is.

Bingo Hollywood logo

Bingo Hollywood is a site that does its level best to teach Safari Bingo how to take a theme and run with it. If we were writing this in the 2010s rather than the 2020s, we’d be talking about what a superbly slick and modern-looking bingo site Bingo Hollywood is. The style of the current decade is different, though, and the blocky approach of Bingo Hollywood is starting to look dated. That issue is common across a lot of the 888 Bingo sister sites – they haven’t done a particularly good job of keeping up with the times. Still, Bingo Hollywood still has traces of glitz and glamour, a 500% matched deposit welcome bonus, a loyalty scheme, and even a few free-to-play bingo rooms that are open to its members every day. Playing at Bingo Hollywood isn’t exactly like getting the red carpet treatment, but there’s no reason it can’t be fun.

Sing Bingo logo

Sing Bingo takes its name literally. It’s a bingo site that’s all about music, from its “rock star” welcome promotion to its invitation to “rock out” in its bingo rooms. This is one of many 888 Bingo sister sites that were put together using the same template, but Sing Bingo does a better job of dressing that template up than most of them do. For all of its rockstar flair and visual niceties, though, there are some content issues. One of them is that its welcome promotion is better suited to those who want to play slots than it is to those who want to play bingo, and comes with a wagering requirement. Wagering requirements aren’t exactly unheard of, but there are a few 888 Bingo sister sites that don’t use them, which makes those that do appear lesser by comparison. With only sixteen bingo rooms overall, Sing Bingo is a little sparse.

Lucky Pence logo

If you decide to take an extended tour of the 888 Bingo sister sites, you’ll soon come to realise that quite a lot of them look like Lucky Pence. That’s another consequence of the repeated use of the same template we mentioned when we were talking about Sing Bingo. Often, the only difference between these cookie-cutter sites is the name and the choice of image that appears on the site’s splash banner. “Lucky Pence” is an odd choice of name for an iGaming site because it gives the impression it’s aimed at players with very low budgets, and that’s not really accurate. Players with limited budgets are as welcome at the site as anyone else, but it also tries to tempt bigger spenders with its self-proclaimed “Mega Bonuses and Perks.” In addition, Lucky Pence tries to stand out from the crowd by making a bigger-than-usual deal out of its collection of Slingo games.

Blighty Bingo logo

Casinos and betting sites with patriotic themes tend to go down well with British players for obvious reasons, so the only real surprise about Blighty Bingo is the fact that it’s the only site that uses such a theme among all of the 888 Bingo sister sites. It goes to town with said theme, though, with two women on the homepage wearing Union Jack facepaint, one of whom is wearing a hat full of scones and cakes. Blighty Bingo has plenty of free bingo tickets to give away to new players and promises that none of its players will ever have to put up with sticky wagering requirements (or, in fact, any wagering requirements at all). A few of the bingo rooms at the site are free to play, but there are also big jackpot rooms, too. A few of said rooms are only available on certain days of the week, so schedule your bingo carefully!

Bingozino logo

Bingozino is a great name for a bingo site. It’s catchy, it’s unique, and it’s easy to remember. Having settled on “Bingozino” as a name, it’s a shame that this member of the 888 Bingo sister sites family didn’t settle on bingo as a preferred game. The fact that Bingozino isn’t really all that serious about bingo is made clear by its welcome promotion, which is splashed all over its homepage. It’s all about slots and slot bonuses and doesn’t make even a passing reference to bingo. You have to scroll a fair way down the homepage before you start seeing any bingo rooms. They’re of good quality and arguably deserve to have more of a feature made out of them. We get the impression that Bingozino doesn’t truly know what it wants to be. All it would take to improve things, though, is a welcome promotion that takes bingo players into account.

Yay Bingo logo

Online slots players will know that sometimes you’ll come across a game, think that it looks familiar, and then realise that it’s a reskin of another of your favourite games. The same is sometimes true of casino and bingo sites. Yay Bingo looks perfectly attractive and well-executed, but if you’ve visited Blighty Bingo before, you’ll remember the curiously-specific welcome promotion. Shortly after that, you’ll realise that both of these 888 Bingo sister sites have the same layouts but use different colour schemes and images to try to mask the fact. That’s not bad news, though – we’ve already covered the fact that Blighty Bingo doesn’t impose wagering requirements, and nor does Yay Bingo. You’re every bit as likely to have a good time at one site as you are at the other. None of the bingo rooms here are exclusive to Yay Bingo, but they’re still some of the best on the platform.

888 Bingo operator – Grand Battery Holdings Limited

grand battery casinos logo

Grand Battery Holdings Limited is a rising star of the UK casino scene, with more than two hundred sites listed under its UKGC licence. It’s a hugely impressive number considering the company only came into being in 2022. All the sites hosted on its platform used to be part of the 888 Group, but the Group decided in 2021 to ditch bingo and focus on its casino and sports betting sites. This move led to over 200 sites being put up for sale. Despite some stiff competition, Dublin-based Broadway Gaming shelled out £38m to seal the deal. Industry experts were left scratching their heads at the price tag, given the profile of some of the sites included in the package. But no matter – all the sites are now Broadway Gaming Limited sites, though they’re not managing them directly. Instead of adding them to their existing UK Gambling Commission licence, the company decided to set up Grand Battery Holdings Limited to be the new home for their freshly-acquired assets.

Grand Battery Holdings Limited is a peculiar casino network company, to say the least. It shares its address with Broadway Gaming and was established with the sole purpose of obtaining a UK Gambling Commission licence and becoming the new host for all the former 888 Group sites. The company officially took possession of these sites in February 2022. As an extension of Broadway Gaming, Grand Battery Holdings Limited lacks any independent identity of its own. There’s no one actually employed by Grand Battery Holdings, and the company doesn’t even have a website or a business logo – we had to create one ourselves just to have something to show.

888 Bingo Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The 888 Bingo bonus is a 500% matched deposit, which sounds incredibly generous until you realise that it comes with quite a low cap. The maximum achievable bonus is £100, which is still a fair return on a £20 deposit – especially when you consider that the wagering requirement for bingo games is x2. If you’d rather use your bonus money to play slots at 888 Bingo, the wagering requirement is x30. In all cases, the minimum deposit is £10.

Other Promotions

There’s quite a complicated loyalty scheme at 888 Bingo, and it’s further complicated by the fact that it resets every month. Here are the basics. For every £1 deposited at the site, 888 Bingo players receive twelve “jewels.” If they achieve between 1 and 599 jewels in a month, they’re at loyalty level two for the following month. If they buy their way to 600-2399 jewels, they’re at loyalty level three. Anything above 2400 jewels is loyalty level four. The loyalty level a player achieves determines how many free bingo tickets, free spins, bingo cashback and slots cashback they’ll receive for that month. The maximum cashback amount for bingo at level four is 15%, with 10% on slots. Players can rack up points at double speed by taking part in the “Happy Hour” promotions every Monday between 5pm and 6pm, which is an awkward time for most people who work.

Top Games at 888 Bingo

When 888 Bingo moved from the 888 Group to Grand Battery Holdings – a move that we still can’t believe actually happened – it lost access to the 888 Group’s bingo rooms. Sadly, it’s never been able to replace them. As of the time of writing, there are only five bingo rooms at 888 Bingo. They’re the 90s Extreme room, the special Mystery Jackpots room, the Bingo Academy for new players, Freemium for those who want to play for free, and the special Big £10,000 loyalty room. Obviously, the biggest jackpots can be found in the last of those five rooms. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of the rooms, but it’s not enough bingo for a site called “888 Bingo” – especially given the reputation for quality that 888 Bingo used to enjoy.

Customer Support and Licensing

Players at 888 Bingo should be able to access live chat between 10am and 2am when they’re logged into their accounts. There’s also a freephone number to call, which is 0800 901 2510 and is also attended between 10am and 2am. Failing that, there’s a contact form on the site that can be used for written queries. 888 Bingo holds a UK Gambling Commission licence (no. 58267) via Grand Battery Holdings Limited. The company’s licence, issued in 2022, is clean.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

888 Bingo’s withdrawal processes are inadequate by the standards of the modern age. The website only supports withdrawals via UK-verified debit cards or to PayPal. All requests are subject to a mandatory two-day processing period. Following this, PayPal withdrawals still require an additional 2-3 business days to process, while debit card withdrawals involve an even longer waiting period of 5 business days. As a consequence, players may face a delay of over a week before their funds are accessible, depending on the time of their withdrawal request.

Final Thoughts on 888 Bingo

When the former 888 UK casinos and bingo sites were sold in 2021, nobody expected 888 Bingo to be sold with them. 888 UK kept hold of 888 Sport and 888 Casino, so everyone thought that 888 Bingo would be treated the same way. It wasn’t, and it’s now sadly a pale shadow of its former self because its bingo rooms have been ripped away and replaced with too few options. The promotions are fine, but there simply aren’t enough games on the site to keep players entertained.
