Queen Play sister sites 2023

Slotanza logo

There are more auspicious places to begin a list of Queen Play sister sites than with Slotanza. However, we generated this short list at random because we wanted to give you a true taste of what you’ll find on the AG Communications Limited platform rather than cherry-picking only the best casinos. Unfortunately, Slotanza is one of the very worst. It’s been such a long time since the Slotanza homepage was updated that it still claims to offer two hundred slots and casino games. The true number is more than one thousand higher. That’s not the only thing that’s wrong with the homepage. There’s a banner on the homepage of Rich Wilde from the Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead slots game in a place where details of the casino’s welcome promotion used to be. It no longer has one. We have no confidence that Slotanza is still being updated as a going concern.

Bet It On logo

We realise you’ve come here looking for Queen Play sister sites. That implies you’re looking for casinos and gambling sites similar to Queen Play itself. All the casinos on the AG Communications Limited platform are similar to Queen Play in one way or another, but Bet It On is a little different from most of them. Instead of focusing on its fantastic selection of online slots, it uses its homepage to showcase the latest odds on all the latest sporting matters – especially anything going on in the world of football. All the casino games and live casino games you could ever hope for are still here, too – you just have to find them through the Bet It On side menu. If you’ve enjoyed Queen Play but also occasionally enjoy betting on sports, Bet It On could be perfect for you.

Top Tally logo

You’d never know from looking at Queen Play that the entire casino is built on a fairly basic template. That’s because whoever designed Queen Play did a spectacular job of dressing the casino up and hiding the rough edges of the template. Whoever designed Top Tally did the polar opposite. They simply made the template green, slapped a logo on it, and then uploaded it for players. We’re not necessarily criticising them – Top Tally is still a perfectly functional casino site – but it’s ugly, and its format is behind the times. Casino web design has moved on a little in the past five years, but the template that underpins the design of many of the Queen Play sister sites hasn’t moved on with it. There’s nothing about Top Tally that’s unique to the casino or gives the casino a sense of personality. It’s bland.

Griffon Casino logo

Is a bland casino worse than a casino that’s badly out of date? You can find out by visiting Top Tally and Griffon Casino in sequence. We’ll give Griffon Casino credit for not using the aforementioned template; it looks entirely different to most Queen Play sister sites. We’ll also give it credit for having an unusual and memorable theme. The griffon, for those who aren’t familiar, is a mythological creature that appears in the ancient tales of the Romans and the Greeks. It’s clear that whoever initially put Griffon Casino together put a lot of effort into their work. They’ve put less effort into it recently, though. The casino claims in text close to its footer that players have access to five hundred games. The actual number of games at Griffon Casino is well over double that amount. We’ve also visited the casino in the past and found it advertising long-dead promotions on its homepage. It’s not totally unmaintained, but it isn’t maintained very often.

24Spin logo

24Spin is a slightly more attractive version of Top Tally. It’s black instead of green, and that’s the most significant difference between the two casinos. In fairness to 24Spin, we could have substituted the name of ten or even twenty other Queen Play sister sites for “Top Tally,” and the statement would still have been true. 24Spin dispenses with the sportsbook and live casino suite you’ll find at plenty of other casinos on this network and focuses only on online slots. It doesn’t suffer by doing so; the casino still has more than one thousand titles for players to consider. The welcome promotion at 24Spin isn’t up to much, but one should never expect too much from the promotions at basic casinos. We don’t mean “basic” as an insult, though – it’s an accurate description of 24Spin’s stripped-back style. If you’re only interested in slots and don’t care about live dealers or big promotions, 24Spin will serve you just fine.

Casino Luck logo

No self-respecting large casino network goes without Irish-themed casinos. The larger a casino network company is, the more likely you are to find multiple Irish-themed casinos under its umbrella. Given the enormity of the AG Communications Limited platform, it’s a surprise to find that only three of the Queen Play sister sites are Irish-themed. Of the three, we’d say Casino Luck is in the middle. It’s neither as bad as Lucky Thrillz nor as good as Luckster, so it sits in second place. We’d have perhaps been tempted to rank it higher if it had made more effort with its theme. Anyone who’s played Irish-themed slots knows that the Irish theme is one full of rainbows, pots of gold, lucky leprechauns and bright colours. All Casino Luck can muster is a few bursts of green and white and a clover in its logo. It’s the casino’s £100 matched deposit welcome promotion that saves it from last place.

Neptune Play logo

You might not see Neptune Play on this list of Queen Play sister sites for much longer – we’re not convinced that it’s going to stick around in the UK market. We have two reasons for thinking that. The first is that Neptune Play doesn’t suit the operator’s usual business model; it’s not a white-label casino, and so AG Communications assumes full responsibility for it. Secondly, there’s been a subtle change on its myths and legends-themed homepage recently. All the promotions on the Neptune Play homepage used to have their values listed in pounds sterling, as is the norm for UK-facing casinos. If you look at that same homepage now, you’ll find all the amounts listed in Euros. Neptune Play has never been especially popular with players in the UK, and the operator has other markets to serve. Perhaps it’s decided that the site will be better appreciated elsewhere.

Queen Play operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

There are a handful of AG Communications Limited casino sites that are spoken about in grander terms than the rest. Queen Play is one of them. The others include Mr Play, Mr Mega, Spin Rio and Regent Play, plus perhaps a couple more. The rest of the Queen Play sister sites – apart from the really bad ones – fade into a sort of amorphous blob of virtually identical iGaming sites. That’s not really their fault – it’s all down to the way they’re designed. AG Communications Limited is a white-label casino operator, so when it puts casino sites together, it does so for business partners who’ve paid for the sites to be made. It also uses a template for the sake of ease, and it’s the template that makes so many of the casinos look like clones.

AG Communications Limited is just one arm of a much larger casino network company and operator called Aspire Global. The name “Aspire Global” is big not only in the European iGaming scene but around the world. Europe is the company’s home, though – specifically Malta, which is where it was incorporated almost twenty years ago in 2005. Since then, it’s gone on to launch over one hundred and seventy casinos and enter thirty different territories, employing six hundred people in the process. Impressive numbers like these are part of what attracted NeoGames, an iLottery company, to Aspire Global in 2022. NeoGames bought the company in its entirety and might yet introduce its lottery games to its newly-acquired casino portfolio.

Queen Play Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The headline promotion on the Queen Play homepage is that new players can claim £200 in matched deposit bonus funds plus one hundred bonus spins. While technically true, there are a few more clauses, bells and whistles to the promotion than that. First deposits at Queen Play are matched at one hundred per cent, but only up to £50. Making that first deposit secured your one hundred bonus spins, but you’ll have to make two more deposits if you want the full £200 allocation. Both deposits are matched at fifty per cent up to a maximum of £75.

Not all of the free spins are allocated to the same slots game. The twenty you get on day one can only be played through on Starburst. That switches to twenty on Finn and the Swirly Spin the next day, twenty on Book of Dead on day three, twenty on Legacy of Dead on day four, and then back to Starburst again for the final twenty on day five.

Other Promotions

Queen Play tends to be quite highly rated, as casinos on the AG Communications Limited platform go. That makes it more than a tad surprising that the welcome promotion, as detailed as it is, is the only one that Queen Play offers. You’ll find access to tournaments and special events on the casino’s promotions page, but you won’t find any actual promotions. If you’re looking for loyalty rewards, we’re afraid you won’t find any. It seems the Queen just isn’t all that generous.

Top Games at Queen Play

The total number of games at Queen Play is well over fifteen hundred. That’s a wealth of choice you’re unlikely ever to become bored of. If you’re looking for the casino’s top slots, though, we’ve already named them. They’re the ones attached to the Queen Play welcome promotion, and they reveal something interesting about AG Communications. Queen Play has access to games from dozens of top providers, but the games it features come from just two; NetEnt (Starburst and Finn and the Swirly Spin) and Play’n Go (Book of Dead and Legacy of Dead). The latter two games are both Egyptian-themed and virtually identical. Starburst ought not to need any introduction, but Finn and the Swirly Spin is a quirky delight of an Irish-themed slot played in a circular grid with a cluster pays system. Even so, this isn’t the best way of showcasing the casino’s range.

Customer Support and Licensing

A casino as big as Queen Play should be able to offer more than email assistance for customers in need of assistance, but it doesn’t. Emails are only attended between 8am and midnight, which makes matters worse. The casino operates under UK Gambling Commission licence 39483, as held by AG Communications Limited. In November 2022, the UKGC completed an investigation into the operator, which concluded that it hadn’t ensured that its white-label casino partners were implementing adequate anti-money laundering checks on customers. As such, the regulator fined AG Communications £237,600, gave it a formal warning, and attached further conditions to its operating licence.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Queen Play is infuriatingly imprecise about turnaround times for its withdrawal methods. It claims it can process instant withdrawals to Mastercard or Visa debit cards but also says it may take six business days to do so. It makes the same claim about Trustly but warns a wait of four days may apply. Even e-wallets, which were designed to be instant, may face a two-day wait. The e-wallets that Queen Play supports are PayPal, Skrill and MuchBetter. The casino further supports AstroPay or regular bank transfers as withdrawal methods, but neither method is instant.

Final Thoughts on Queen Play

Queen Play is proof that glitter works as a distraction and can make anything look pretty. When you land on its homepage, it looks like a superb casino. We’ll readily accept that its games collection is tremendous and that its welcome promotion is generous (so long as you’re willing to spend enough cash to maximise it). What we have a harder time accepting is that there’s no way to contact the casino other than email and that it can’t do better than a six-day window for withdrawal processing on debit cards. Big casinos do better than this. It’s a wonder that the Queen Play sister sites can’t.

Don’t play at Queen Play; it’s a rip-off. It takes ages to get any bonuses, and even when you do, they’re worth nothing. I’ve moaned about a few casinos in the past, but this one is by far the worst. Wayne, June 18th 2022. Source Trustpilot.
